Get Ready For Your New Thing Pt. 2
(Isaiah 43:18-21)
(Isaiah 43:18-21)
Isaiah was speaking to the children of Israel in Babylonian captivity. They were there because of disobedience to God. This message was life to them because what they were experiencing as normal was life as a captive. Jeremiah told them that they would be captive for 70 years because of their disobedience! Their disobedience had consequences.
Isaiah showed up telling the people to not remember the former things. He was referencing their previous exodus from Egypt. They were not to keep something in mind from the past so that it affects your present. God cannot be put in a box to do things the way He may have done it in the past.
“God will do it; It’s happening now; and you gonna know it.” – Pastor Billy Johnson
Since God is doing this new thing, what are we to do?
When God is bringing to pass a prophetic word, He is working in multiple arenas at one time. We think that God will only work through people who honor Him. Look at the life of King Cyrus in the latter part of 2 Chronicles. God was moving on the king’s heart even though he was a pagan king.
When God begins to move, He moves on multiple PEOPLE as well. Some of you will be blessed by people who don’t even honor God.
Consider, Nehemiah, the builder…
It’s going to take FAITH on what God said. Trust God and act!
It’s an US thing. It’s not just a ME thing. We must be experts at getting along with people.
let God give you your fight back.
As we walk in the new thing that God is doing, we must now draw closer to God.
In 2020, experience the new thing that God is doing.
