Don’t Lose Your Hope

Romans 15:13 NKJV – Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 15:13 NIV – May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Hope is that favorable expectation; to look forward in confidence to what is to come – that which is good and beneficial.

Provider of Hope

God, himself, is the provider of hope.  He provides hope through the word (Romans 15:4, Psalms 119:49) and through his works (Psalms 78:4-7).

The enemy knows the strength and encouragement that comes from reading the word.

Proof of Hope

Joy and peace. Not just a little bit, but He crams us with all joy and peace (Rom 14:17).  Remember joy and peace are a part of the fruit of the spirit.

Power of Hope

The Holy Spirit. He is the power that works on the inside of us.
