God Owns It All

It’s interesting that at a very young age we assume ownership.

He owns you by creation (Genesis 1:1)

All that is in Heaven and earth is His. You belong to God. You are His.   Every person belongs to God because God created Adam. Everybody, Christians and Non-Christians are His by creation (1 Corinthians 6:20)

He owns you by His redemption

We were without hope and God looked at us and brought us out of darkness. Sin blocked us from getting to God. You were not righteous enough to redeem yourself. God sent His son. He who knew no sin, took on flesh to redeem those in the flesh.

The blood was gathered and taken to the holy of holies and offered for your sins.

You are His by creation. You are His by redemption. (1 Corinthians 6:9)—Your body is the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 1:13—God did not just give you a promise of His inheritance, He gave you a seal.

He owns you by residence

The Holy Spirit is the proof that God owns you. You are God’s property. The Holy Spirit is there to lead and guide you. At all points you have access to the Greater One. We must learn to walk and move with Him.

You owe your life twice to the same person—He’s your creator. You are His by redemption. You are His by residence. The least you can do is acknowledge His ownership and release control.
