Advent Week 2: Peace is a Person
(Ephesians 2:14-18)
(Ephesians 2:14-18)
Ephesians 2:14–18 (NIV)
14For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility,
15by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace,
16and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.
17He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.
18For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.

Conclusion — Peace That Changes Everything
Paul shows us the journey of peace:
He IS our Peace — present in us
He MADE Peace — purchased on the cross
He PROCLAIMS Peace — through His church
.
And this peace is not temporary —
It is eternal. Unbreakable. Divine.
.
Peace with God brings the peace of God.
Peace from God brings peace with others.
.
Closing Prayer
Lord, thank You that Jesus is our Peace.
Break down every wall in our hearts.
Unite what sin has divided.
Let Your peace rule our homes, our minds, and our relationships.
Make us messengers of reconciliation —
until the world knows the Prince of Peace.
Amen.
