Standing on Truth and Righteousness (Part 2)

Today’s focus will be on:

• The Righteousness That Was Provided
• The Righteousness Possessed
• The Righteousness Practiced
• The Righteousness Perfected

The breastplate of righteousness guards/protects all the chest and abdomen area.

Righteousness Provided

Righteousness is not created by us.

Righteousness is being in right standing with God.  Only God can do that.

We cannot manufacture, earn or achieve righteousness on your own.

The Righteousness Possessed

We must guard our hearts at all costs; what goes in and what goes out.

We must have hunger and thirst for righteousness.

Evil people are injured people because they’ve never worn the breastplate of righteousness.

The Righteousness Practiced

(Micah 6:8, James 2:17-18)

Become something different in Christ Jesus.

One day you will be clothed in righteousness.

One day there will be no more sin.
