Obedience To God Will Offend and Upset Others (Daniel 3: 8-12).

The Chaldeans and King Nebuchadnezzar were upset with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego because their focus was on God. Our sole focus must be obedience to God because nothing else matters. When it comes to obedience to God, our hearts must be in the right place. Our adherence to Godly integrity and Godly character will cause others to be offended and upset.

Obedience To God Leads To Trusting God (Daniel 3:15-18). When we are being obedient to God, we get a special type of boldness and courage. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego made up their minds that they would focus solely on God. They trusted God to deliver them – either through the fire or through death.

Obedience To God Saves Us (Daniel 3:19-28). God was the fourth man in the furnace. The God who did not deliver them from the fire is the same God who met them in that fire and then delivered them out of the fire. God kept His Word and saved them (Isaiah 43:1-2).
