God still knows the future, and because He knows He can give you insight. God is still willing to share information about you and your future.
Gifts that SAY Something – prophecy, tongues & interpretation of tongues.
- Speaking in tongues is the gift of speaking supernaturally in a language you do not know.
- The gift of interpretation is the supernatural ability to articulate what the supernatural has said.
.
The Gift of Prophecy – a spontaneous spirit inspired message that is given to an individual or a gathered assembly.
The gifts that say something are foretelling and forthtelling.
- Foretelling is sharing a future event spoken to you by the Holy Spirit. (Acts 11:27-28)
- Forthtelling is speaking by the spirit explaining the present situation from God’s perspective. (Acts 13:1-3)
We must remember to not be dismissive of a Word from God that might change our life. (I Thessalonians 5:19-21)
“God is bigger than your knowledge of Him. As much as you think He knows, He knows more.” – Pastor Billy R. Johnson.
- Do not quench the spirit. Carrying the idea of dampening or putting out the fire of the Holy Spirit.
- Do not despise prophecies. Do not treat what others say as worthless.
- Test all things. Test means to observe, look over and carefully inspect. When you are given a word test it to the Word of God.
“The prophetic ministry is not designed to control your life, but to minister to you.” – Pastor Billy R. Johnson.
