The Ministry of the Holy Spirit: Giving Instruction

The Holy Spirit has many things to reveal: answers, directions, wisdom, insight, purposes and plans.  When the spirit of truth comes, spiritual things are made understandable.

WHEN THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH COMES:

 He Will GUIDE You (1 John 2:20-21)

He will show you the way and provide what you need to show you the truth. We have an anointing from the Holy Spirit and know all things.

He Will SHOW You Things to Come (Acts 10:19; Acts 11:28)

In the scripture we see examples of some being shown of what is to come.  For example, Peter is being shown of what is to come, and therefore given guidance on what to do.  Additionally, the scripture shows the people being told of a famine to come, which allows them to prepare for such circumstances.  The Holy Spirit is providing insight that you would know the truth of who Jesus is and know the truth of other aspects of your life.

He Will GLORIFY God (Acts 3:7, 11-13)

Jesus is talking with His disciples who are amazed at the miracles they witnessed. But they are assured that the miracles are not for pure amazement, but to see the good works and glorify the Father.

In closing, God will begin working on your heart to prepare you for how you will be used. And we must be willing to commit to giving Him the glory.
