What happens when God tears apart the scorecard that the world says about you?
(vv. 9-10)
The lowly brother is a believer enduring persecution.
The rich were slandering the name of Christ, but they will pass away.
“Wealth that is not submitted in faith, produces a man who eventually fades.” – Minister Gabriel Cyprian
Your wealth cannot be your security. Your highest confidence should not be in worthless things.

Happiness is circumstantial, external, temporary.
Joy is convictional; rooted in what is true regardless of circumstances; permanent.
Joy is not the absence of God in difficulty; it’s the presence of God in the midst of difficulty.” – Minister Gabriel Cyprian

The rich man’s trials came from within.
“Watch what you give your attention to.” – Minister Gabriel Cyprian
Only God and His word will last.
Where is God in your plans?
“God’s not going to ask you what’s in your bank account.” – Minister Gabriel Cyprian
Don’t chase something that was meant to be a resource.

God already knows you. Do you see it?
“Stand firm and see the salvation of the Lord.” – Minister Gabriel Cyprian
All your help comes from God! Faith is the great equalizer.
