Strategies of Satan: When the Enemy Tries to Pull You Down

INTRODUCTION

Last week, we exposed Satan’s strategies of deception, accusation, and distraction.

This week, we will look at three more strategic attacks the enemy uses:

James 1:13–15 (NKJV)

Temptation entices us to act outside of God’s will and character.

Partners with seduction which makes sin look satisfying.

Jesus was tempted but did not sin.

Pattern of Temptation

Drawn away by your own desires (it’s in you)

Enticed (you cannot be tempted by what you don’t want)

Desire conceived ( gives birth to sin)

Full-grown sin brings death

Temptation tests your loyalty, integrity, and self-control. Temptation loses power when truth rises.

Luke 13:10-17 (NKJV)

Bondage is a long-term captivity of the mind.

Oppression is heavy pressure applied with bondage.

You are released, set free, let go, fully free!
