Can You Pass the Test?

Covid was a test of who we really are.  Churches were not considered “essential” during Covid.

Covid showed us that there were many who could quote the word but could not live it.

“Faith that cannot be tested cannot be trusted.” – Dr. Sherry Gaither

God will allow you to go through things (struggle) that will give you the ability to soar.

God wants us to grow up.

God is watching how you respond to everything.  God will get the word in you and then test you.

We must posture for growth so that when adversity, tests, etc., hit us it doesn’t take us out.

FIVE TESTS THAT GOD USES TO TRANSFORM

The Wilderness Test (Deut 8:2-5; 18)

• Each one of us will go through the wilderness.
• The enemy wants you to think that you will never come out of the wilderness.

The Time Test (Romans 4:22-23 NLT)

• Challenges you to know whether you believe God or not.

• Some people are not meant to go with you on your journey.

“The gathering is to get the information IN you.” – Dr. Sherry Gaither

The Word Test (Psalms 105:17-19)

• God will test the word on the inside of you.
• The enemy looks to take your dreams and visions that are on the inside of you.
• All these tests are working together to see if you will abort the assignment.
• You can find a scripture to get you through whatever situation you may find yourself in.

The Discouragement Test

• Keep coming and worship through discouragement.
• Don’t abort the assignment.

The Character Test (Luke 22:31-34; Acts 2:14)

• You must get up after the test.
• Trust in God even when you are going through.

Keep to God’s way.  Get the Word of God IN you!  Grow up and mature!
