The GRACE OF GIVING Had to Be Completed in The Church at Corinth. (v6)
Paul had to write to the Church at Corinth to encourage them.

The GRACE OF GIVING Was Something They Were to Excel In (v7)
The Church of Corinth excelled in faith, speech, knowledge, all diligence, and love.  They were also encouraged to, also, excel in the grace of giving.
