Are You Engaging?
(Hebrews 10:19-25)
(Hebrews 10:19-25)
As the series continues, on how we R.E.S.E.T., the focus will be on engaging: to be involved; to participate.
.
In the scripture (Hebrews 10:22) by drawing near to God we have the access to engage. The scripture tells us we have the boldness to enter into the Holiest. In the Old Testament the Holiest was a place reserved only for the priest. However, because of the blood of Jesus, we now have access in a new and living way that allows us to draw near to God.
.
The scripture (Hebrews 10:23) encourages us to hold fast the confessions of our hope without wavering. We can hope because of the promises of God. We are dealing with a God who is faithful and who can be trusted to keep His promises.
“…you can lose a lot of things, but don’t lose hope…” – Pastor Billy R. Johnson.
.
We must be intentional and think of others, as the scripture says (Hebrews 10:24) encouraging us to consider on another in order to stir up love and good works. Additionally, we must not neglect assembling together. For coming together and being in the presence of others, provides for an opportunity for us to exhort one another. As we engage we not only add value to others, but others add value to us.
“We can have great impact if we simply engage with others.” – Billy R. Johnson.
