Every generation has a role.  You must know what generation you are in and what assignment you have.

We Must Personally Pursue God’s Presence

• Moses went to the tent; he had a personal relationship with God.
• We cannot have the power of God without being in the presence of God.
• Get in the tent.
• Moses took Joshua with him to the tent.
• Moses also took Joshua to war with him. The Joshua’s of the world must understand what they are fighting against.

Must Stay in the Tent

• Joshua would not depart from the tent. (v11)
• Joshua needs wisdom (Deuteronomy 9:34)
• Joshua was full of wisdom because Moses laid his hands on him.
