Use the Name of Jesus (Part 2)

Mary and John had no other option but name the child Jesus – Matthew 1:21
The scripture of Acts 3 begins with stating a “certain man” was lame from the womb. It was a daily routine for him to be carried, until a man, to the doors of the Beautiful temple for the purpose of begging for alms. As he lay, Peter and John walked by and asked for his attention. He turned expecting to receive something, such as silver and gold. But instead of silver and gold Peter could only offer the name of Jesus.
IN USING THE NAME OF JESUS:
We Must Have an Association with the Name (v6)
We must have the authority to use the name. Does Jesus know us? If we are using the name of Jesus our life and Jesus must be intertwined. He must know us.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and if we begin to expect something, we activate the faith that brings hope.
