Excel in the Grace of Giving

The scripture says we should abound in everything and see to it that we abound in the grace of giving.  We must excel in giving as we excel in other areas.

Excel means to:

• super abound in quantity and quality
• to be in excess or exceed a fixed number
• to overflow

 

According to scripture the grace to give was on the entire church.  The scripture mentions the deep poverty of the church.  Their circumstances did not dictate their willingness to give.

• Faith
• Speech
• Knowledge
• All Diligence / Earnestness
• Love for Paul
