Not all truth has the same weight to it. There are some things that are weightier than others.
If something doesn’t come from God it’s not worth starting with.
It has to come from Him, it has to go through Him and it has go back to Him.
Bob Sorge is the “speaker who cannot speak.” A traumatic injury 30 years ago left him unable to speak above a whisper and sent him on a quest to know God.

The cross is the anchor of our souls. The cross is the only thing that can carry you through the greatest storms of life.

Jesus was lifted on the cross to bring all men to Himself.

1 Peter 2:21 – For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:
–Christ also suffered for us (the substitutionary side of the cross)
–leaving us an example (the exemplary side of the cross)

Jesus did for us what we could never do for ourselves.
Colossians 2:14 – Jesus nailed righteousness based on performance to the cross!

Scripture calls Jesus “the firstborn from the dead” – Rev. 1:5; Col 1:18
Jesus opened the birth canal of resurrection for the first time. Jesus made it easier for the rest of us.
