Trust in God requires each of us to have a relationship with Him.
What does it mean to trust in God? Why should you trust in God? What are the benefits in trusting in God; What are the risks? Should I always trust God or sometimes trust Him?
“The rewards in trusting completely in God totally outweigh the risks.” – Minister David Everson
We should trust God because God loves us (John 3:16), He is sovereign and because God is trustworthy.
God loves us unconditionally. He loves us until we become fully persuaded to put our trust in Him. (Romans 5:8)
God already knew that we would get caught up in some strange way along the way and yet He still loves us.
God is continuously faithful towards us. He promised us that He would never leave or forsake us.
“Will you let go and trust God?” – Minister David Everson
Sovereign means that God is supreme. He answers to no other authority. He has no equal. God is not restricted by time. God sovereignty is inclusive of His omnipotence. (Is. 46:10). He is in every place at the same time!
“God knows our end from our beginning; we are simply walking it out.” – Minister David Everson
God does not have to study or figure out your situation. He already knows how He is going to handle it. He has already aligned people and places and things together that are going to perfect it for you. Just trust in God!
God knows your past, your present and your future! God knows ALL your secrets! But because He loves you unconditionally, He does not hold it against you. Who wouldn’t trust a God like that?
Simply means we can trust in God because He is honest and truthful.
He continues to prove that He can be trusted in our everyday life. Each one of us has a testimony where God has worked in our lives.
Psalms 111:7
Psalms 23:4
When you confidently know your identity in Christ you can totally let go and trust in God.
Our complete trust in God requires us to surrender everything unto Him.
You cannot say that God is your savior and not your Lord. When you say He is your Lord you totally surrender everything to Him.
“God does not need your help. He just needs your posture of prayer to intercede and make your petitions known plainly before Him.” – Minister David Everson
God’s timing is perfect. Learn to wait and put full trust in God.
Put a prayer before Jesus and do not pick it back up. Trust in God to bring it to pass.
