Isaiah 43:18-19(NIV) – “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wildernessand streams in the wasteland.
Have youever noticed the buttons on a controller fora game all fall into one of three categories?
Many times,we try to play the game without learning what each button does. And we often don’t have success becauseof our lack of knowledge. Yet, on everygame there is a place where you can get directions. This is the same in our lives, we have to go to the biblefor our directionand instructions. Additionally,we must not hold on to the things that happened in the past, but adapt theto new situations that come.
Shift inMindset
Philippians 4:10-13 (NIV) – I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
