What motivates one to become great? What inspires you? In your pursuit to become great in your life, do you not know that your plan includes God? Yes, God wants you to be great, because He is a great God. Jeremiah 29:11
In pursuit of greatness, our first priority should be to make sure God is pleased with what we do.
Greatness – one who pursues and achieves excellence on the platform of life that God has predestined for them.
Achieving greatness requires Discipline, Diligence, and Determination.
Discipline
-the practice of training to obey rules or a code of behavior. It involves teaching, authority, instruction, and regulations.
Christianity is a lifestyle of discipline. In Christianity, greatness isn’t about getting wealth, notoriety, and celebraty-status, to be wielded by your desires. Rather, it is an exercise in humility that glorifies God.

Diligence
-our careful and persistent work or effort.
Jesus’ ministry on earth reveals his diligence to complete His purpose.
When we our diligent in pursuit of our greatness, there is no room for doubting or unbelief. We are guided by the Holy Spirit and our confidence is in God and not man.
Determination
-a firmness of purpose with compromise or wavering
