Excel In The Grace of Giving
(2 Corinthians 8:1-7)
(2 Corinthians 8:1-7)
Everything we do in the Christian life requires God’s grace. Make sure we are strong in the grace that is given. Make sure you are asking God for his divine influence. Grace will make you better.
Just because you have external difficulties does not mean you cannot have internal joy. If you faint in the day of adversity your strength is small. God said, “I need you to excel in the grace.” Difficulties seem to come in pairs and bring their friends. Verse 2
There has to be a willingness on the inside where you say I am purposed to give. If you keep giving the oil will keep flowing. Guard you heart to hear God and say I am always willing to give. Make sure that what God puts in your hand does not become an idol. It becomes an idol when you are not willing to give when God asks. Verse 2
God does not want your money, He wants you. At some point, you have to get to a place where you say to God, “I give myself to You.” You lay yourself at the altar as a living sacrifice. Grace is not cheap. It’s beyond convenience. When you excel in the grace of giving you see beyond what the eye can see. Verse 5
