New Creation

In 2 Corinthians 5, we see that we are new creatures in Christ and that God is reconciling the world back to Himself.

Question:  What does reconcile mean?

Reconcile or reconciliation simply means to come back.  And in this case it means come back to God.  God created everything to obey Him and produce.

Question:  Why did God’s finest creation not obey Him?

We see in Romans 5:19, because of one man’s disobedience, we are all sinners.  But through Jesus’ obedience, we are made righteous.

Question:  What is a new creation?

The new creation is you and me.  We are made new through Christ.
