Serving God For His Glory

We are definitely in the “last days” and it is important that we are serving God for His glory.  Here are 3 keys to accomplishing this.

We Need To Have a Deeper Prayer Life

v. 7b – Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.

We have to be sober minded.  We cannot be distracted or “drunk” on our circumstance.  We must serious and watchful so that we can pray.

We Need To Have A Fervent Love For One Another

v. 8 – Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

To be fervent means you are striving like an athlete and running to the finish line. The world will know you by the love you share for one another.

We Need To Understand That What We Are Doing Is For The Glory Of God

There are so many ways we can bring glory to God.  Verse 9 – 11 outline several ways:

• Be hospitable
• Use your gift to serve others
