Six Things that Work Against Your Obedience
Peter had traditions that were working inside of him (I’ve always done it that way or I’ve never done it that way)
Traditions will work against your obedience
God may want to do something fresh and new

Naaman’s preferences were working against his obedience.
“We’ve already dictated to God how we want Him to move.” – Pastor Billy Johnson
Ananias was fearful because of what he had previously heard.
We all have fears and some fears are not bad. Some fears are meant to alert you.
When fear paralyzes you then you are hindered in your faith walk and in obedience.
Just think what Peter would have missed had he let his experience take over.
A Need to Know it All Before You Obey

Abraham had a such a relationship with God that he simply obeyed Him
Most of they time you don’t know what’s on the other side of your obedience.
Waiting for Perfect Conditions Before You Get Started
“It will never be perfect so you might as well go ahead and obey.” – Pastor Billy Johnson
Sometimes God just needs you to DO.
Simply obey. Hold in high esteem your obedience to the Lord.
Hear. Obey. Leave the consequences up to God.
