Paul makes a declaration in verse 16, that he is not ashamed of the gospel
For in it

The just shall live by faith
Who are the just? Those who have accepted the Lord, Jesus Christ.
By Faith? Paul is not talking about a one-time event, or something we do occasionally, but rather a lifestyle change.

I’m believing God for this house, or this car, but what about every other promise found in the Word?
God expects us to live by faith. And because you are on this journey, there are some essentials you must have.
How do we develop in our faith? How do we make this a lifestyle change?
Enoch walked with God 300 years, after starting to have children. Many times we use the excuse that we don’t have time to walk with God like we should. However, we see that Enoch, with multiple children, walked with God for 300 years.
Another way to say this is Discipline
The time that Noah lived was violence-filled. And because of the wickedness God decided to wipe out humanity from the earth. Yet, God remembered Noah because he walked with God. So God gave instructions to Noah. And Noah obeyed. And that obedience not only saved his life, but his families’ life as well.
In order to be a risk-taker we have to be clear that we are hearing from God.
“Many of us aren’t moving, because we aren’t sure if it’s God speaking to us.” – Minister Donald Andrews
What things do we need to re-examine, that we need to take a risk?
