The Master’s Plan
(Philippians 4:6)
(Philippians 4:6)
Something in your life might not be exactly how you wanted it to be. Something might not have gone according to plan. But the solution is still the same.
No matter where you fall on the spectrum, you must go to the master to get HIS plan.
In order to move forward in God, you must do it with a surrendered will in prayer. We must go to God saying “I need your guidance and help.”
Philippians 4:6 (ESV) – do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
“We don’t stand in a place of worry, we stand in a place of prayer.” – Minister Alfie James
–“let your requests be made known to God
You must make your request known to God, but not as a laundry list of duties that God must fulfill for you, but rather with humility and a surrendered will.
James 1:5 (ESV) – If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
“Who better to ask what to do with your life, than the one who ordained my life.” – Minister Alfie James
God is a planner. We know this because the redemption plan was already in place even before Adam sinned.
Jeremiah 29:11 (ESV) – For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
If God already did this, we don’t need to try and figure it out. We just have to get in line with his plan.
“A wedding ceremony often takes 6 – 18 months of planning for a 20-minute ceremony. Can we spend time with the master getting his plan for our lives?”
-To begin or continue a course of action.
Many of us are comfortable with praying and planning, but when it comes to taking action (executing), we often fall short.
Proverbs 16:3 (ESV) – Commit your work (actions) to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.
Proverbs 16:9 (ESV) – The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.
Psalm 37:23 (ESV) – The steps of a man are established by the LORD, when he delights in his way;
GOD EXPECTS US TO MOVE!
