Transformation
(Romans 12:1-2)
(Romans 12:1-2)
Romans 12:2 “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” (NKJV)
Separation comes by Transformation. The level of your separation will be no greater than the level of your transformation. When there is no separation—there will be no transformation. Transformation means to change the form and the nature of a thing. The principle: once something has been transformed—it can never go back to what it was.
You are a three-part being—spirit, mind and body. The part that was made new was your spirit man. There are two options:
Option 1 – Be conformed to the pattern of the world.
Option 2 – Be conformed to the image of His Son.
Romans 8:29 “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.” (NKJV)
As Christians, we are called to something different from what the world offers. When your lifestyle and the world’s lifestyle are the same—there is a problem. If we view what the world views—then we have the world’s viewpoint.
The way to transform is by the renewing your mind.
