What Do We Offer Lost People?

How do you define success? Is success measured by dollars and cents? Is the economic bottom line the only definition of success? Does great personal achievement define success? Does the Lord us any clues concerning good success?
Joshua 1:8 (KJV) – This book of the law shall not depart out of they mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
To prosper means to advance, prosper and make progress.
“Without a struggle, there can be no progress.” – Fredrick Douglas
Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable… Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, sufferings, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals.
All progress carries a cost, however once progress is achieved, it brings satisfaction rather than frustration.
I) Success is the progressive realization of predetermined God-given dreams, visions and goals

Joshua teaches us to war
David teaches us to rule
III) The law must be
Verbal – meaning in your mouth (Psalm 19:14)
Internal – meditated on and in your heart and mind (Psalm 1)
Experiential – lived in your life (Joshua 1:8)
A threefold cord is not easily broken

Proverbs 4:23 – Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it flows the issues of life.
