The Power of Prayer
(Mark 11:20-24)
(Mark 11:20-24)
We must have clarity in our prayers. What specifically are you asking God to do? When you don’t have clarity you lose your purpose, however, when we gain clarity we aren’t easily distracted.
“I believe we do not ask him because we do not know what to ask.” – Pastor Ferne Sapp
The word “ask” means to desire. You have to ask do I really want this. You have to get your desire fine-tuned. In Genesis 32:24-26, we see that Jacob would not let the angel go until he blessed him.
You have to be consistent. He says WHEN you pray. Meaning, prayer is not optional. In our Western society, we have become used to the microwave effect: If things do not happen quickly we won’t stay. Yet the Bible commands that we pray always.
You have to believe what you are asking of God, He will do it.
