Entering A Life Of Service
(John 12:20-26)
(John 12:20-26)
In John 12:20-21, we see Greeks (the world) traveling to meet Jesus. When people are in the world, can they meet Him through us? Can people meet Jesus through our lives, our actions, and the way we serve?

She saved money to give to a man on the side of the road and he spoke encouragement in her life.
In John 12:25 we see that Christ is emphasizing a life not focused on self.
Every day people are looking to know if they are loved.
They are many ways to share the gospel. One important way is how we live.
Many times we are so focused on the tangible actions to serve others that we forget about the spiritual actions we can take to serve others.
The compassion I have for the world came from two places: my grandmother and the Holy Spirit.
We must have the characteristics of Christ. As you serve you address a need, and as a result, you are telling those that you are serving that you are a follower of Jesus Christ.
“We have a responsibility….as parents to create an example for them [our children] to see.” – Pastor Ferne
Also, we must be intentional about serving others. Meaning, when we wake up each day, that should be on our minds to do.
“Winners don’t quit. Winners might lose, but they get up and continue.” – Willie Sapp
